Overview
The area of distribution, logistics, and warehousing is a quickly blossoming business in the U.S. and abroad. As warehouses and distribution centers expand to meet demand for immediate delivery, the need for trained professionals in this field keeps growing.
The Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing (CPDW) program is designed to educate and train people in distribution, logistics, and warehousing management, preparing students for professional jobs in distribution centers and warehouses.
Anyone may apply for the CPDW — the CPP is not required, and there is a separate application for this certification.

Requirements

Complete three online courses: Distribution and Warehousing; Inventory for Distribution and Warehousing; and Management Operations and Logistics — or take all three together via the “Preparation for CPDW Exam” course.

Pass the CPDW examination with a score of 75% or higher.
- 03
Submit the application with the processing fee; once courses and the exam are complete, the application is reviewed for final approval.

All CPDWs receive a formal award letter, a plaque, and are announced on the Society's website.
